Tim Harris is the Founder & Managing Principal of Star Development. Tim has spent his entire 40+ year career in the commercial real estate industry, resulting in a depth of experience in development, redevelopment and acquisition of retail, industrial, residential, mixed use and multifamily assets throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area.
During his 40+ years of real estate experience, Tim has developed or acquired 300+ projects with a total value in excess of $450mm. Those projects have included numerous retail centers and industrial complexes, 2,500+ residential lots, as well as future developable ground.
His vision, ability to recognize current and future trends, extensive contacts with lenders, brokers and municipal and community leaders has been the driving force behind the continual growth of Star Development and its affiliates and partnerships.
Tim is a licensed real estate broker with Star Commercial Realty and serves as a board member on multiple community improvement districts, homeowner associations, and charitable organizations in the Kansas City metropolitan area.
Blake Fulton is a Principal, and Director of Development for Star Development and is responsible for the organization's development, implementation, and oversight of corporate strategy. In addition to his corporate responsibilities Blake is responsible for acquisitions, dispositions, and financing of portfolio properties. He has been affiliated with the company since 2016.
He is a 2009 graduate of University of Missouri, with a Bachelor of Science in Finance. Blake previously managed a $200mm asset based lending portfolio company for a private equity firm and was the co-founder and CEO of a transportation industry holding company located in the Midwest.
Robert de la Fuente is a Principal, Director of Development and In-House Counsel for Star Development and is responsible for the organization's development projects and legal matters. He joined the company in 2010, and has 10+ years of real estate development experience.
Robert grew up in Fort Worth, TX area, and relocated to Kansas City in 2010. He is a 2001 graduate of University of North Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He is also a 2004 graduate of Texas Tech University with a dual JD/MBA.
Sheryl Giambalvo is a Principal and Director for Leasing for Star Development and is responsible for the organization's leasing and brokerage. She joined the company in 2008, and has 20+ years of real estate and brokerage experience.
Sheryl has developed outstanding relationships with national and regional retailers, restaurants and service tenants – essential not only for development projects, but also for repositioning and maintaining existing centers.
Sheryl is a licensed real estate broker with Star Commercial Realty and member of Heartland MLS and Lake of the Ozarks MLS.
Michelle Wingerson is the Accounting Director for Star Development and is responsible for the organization's day-to-day accounting functions. She joined the company in 2016, and has 20+ years of real estate and public accounting experience.
Michelle grew up in the Kansas City metropolitan area, and is a graduate of University of Kansas, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting. Michelle previously worked for Cochran Head Vick, CPA of Kansas City as a real estate and tax accountant for 13 years.
Emily Weber is a Property Accountant for Star Development and is responsible for the accounting functions related to commercial real estate properties. She joined the company in 2022 and has 2 years of public and property accounting experience.
Emily grew up in a small Northern MO town and relocated to the Kansas City area in 2021. She is a 2020 graduate of Missouri Western State University, with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting.
